How to import from the Royal College of Anaesthetists logbook desktop application
1.The first thing to do is to check the logbook version .It has to be the version 7.0.Please update your desktop version if necessary.
When you open the logbook you will see this picture and it will show the version you are working with…
If you were using a previous version import all your records into this one.
2. Next you have to export your records into a file that can be upload it into the online logbook. Follow these steps:
3. Next save the data in your desktop being sure that you have clicked the option " Tab-Separated Text" option:
4. During the next step you have to click the option " Don't format" and do not change the order of the fields on the screen!!
Finally click " Export"
5. Locate the file that you have saved in the desktop:
Go on line to the site www.lsora.com or alternatively www.anesthesialogbook.com and log in:
Once in the members area go for the purple option “ Import records from Palm”:
Click on choose File:
Locate the file in your desktop and click choose:
Next click submit:
and...It is done!!
